The 7-2 game
Seven-two is the worst starting hand in Hold'em. In the 7-2 game, win any pot holding it and every other player dealt in passes you a bounty.
How it works
- The host sets the bounty, in chips.
- Win any pot holding 7-2, suited or not, by showdown or by bluffing everyone out. A side pot counts too.
- Every other player dealt into the hand passes you the bounty, straight from their stack, on top of the pot.
- Your 7-2 is turned over for the table to see once the hand's over.
It only counts in hands of Hold'em: not in Omaha, bomb pots or pot folds. If a player can't cover the bounty, the rest is settled in the ledger at the end of the night.
Why it's fun
It turns the worst hand into the most exciting one. Anyone who raises might have 7-2 and be playing for the bounty, so suddenly everyone's a bluffer, and calling down to "keep them honest" gets expensive.
Opting out
Any player can skip the 7-2 game from the Seat menu. They neither pay nor collect a bounty.
