For home games

The app for your home game

Everything your regular game does round the kitchen table, from everyone's own phone: the host in charge, the house specials, and a settle-up that's done for you.

Built for the way home games really play

Online poker sites are built for strangers. A home game is different: the same faces each week, house rules, a host who runs things, and a settle-up at the end. Poker Rooms is built for that.

  • The host is in charge. Start and pause, change the blinds between hands, approve each top-up, correct a stack with a reason everyone sees, name a co-host.
  • House specials. Straddles, run it twice and the rabbit hunt for free; bomb pots, pot folds, the 7-2 game, the Nit game and win streaks with Premium. How each one works.
  • Cash game or tournament, or a cash game and then a tournament, settled up together.
  • The settle-up done for you. The ledger shows every result in chips and the fewest transfers to even up. More on settling up.

For a regular game: clubs

A club keeps your group together between nights. Members join once, the next game goes on the club's page with an RSVP, your favourite table setup starts in one tap, and the league shows who's been running hot all season.

Switching from another app?

If your group already plays online, moving is easy: there's nothing to install and nobody needs an account, so the first night is just a new link in the group chat. What groups tell us they notice first:

  • It's made for phones first, with the table as big as the screen allows, and the chat right beside it.
  • Every hand can be checked with "Verify this deal", so nobody wonders about the shuffle. Fair dealing.
  • The side games are real home-game ones, run by the table, with the votes and the chips handled for you.
  • No ads and no real money, ever.

Chips only

Poker Rooms is for playing with friends. Chips keep score and nothing more: they're never bought, sold or worth anything, and no real money is played, won or paid out.

Questions

Good to know.

Is there an app to download?
No download needed: Poker Rooms runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your Home Screen so it opens like an app.
What does it cost?
Playing is free, for cash games up to 9 players and one-table tournaments. Premium adds the bigger side games, tournaments up to 60 players and every night of history; only the host needs it, and everyone at their table gets it for the night.
Can we keep a regular game going?
Yes. A club keeps your regular group together, with its members, planned nights with RSVPs, table setups saved for one tap, and a league over the season.
We play with real chips at home. Can we use it for that?
Poker Rooms deals and keeps the chips itself, so everyone plays on their own device. For a game with real cards and chips round a table, our free tournament clock and blind structure maker help instead.
