What's new

Every change, newest first

Poker Rooms gets better every week, mostly from what players and hosts tell us. Here's each change as it went live.

October 2026

  • Usability Help and feedback is in the menu: report a problem with the details filled in for you, or suggest an idea.
  • Website A What's new page lists every change to Poker Rooms.
  • Table On phones held sideways, your bet sits beside your cards so the board is bigger.
  • Table On small phones, long names shrink to fit their name box before being cut short.
  • Safety The privacy policy now explains how visits are counted without cookies: a code that changes every day, deleted the next day, so only daily totals are kept.
  • Table On phones held upright, smaller tables space their seats evenly round the rail, with slimmer name boxes so the board and cards have more room.
  • Safety The privacy policy now says staff may give Premium free to the people who play and host most, so signed-in players are asked to agree to it again.
  • Premium Players who've been given Premium now see a note saying so, and until when.
  • Table On laptops, monitors, and phones and iPads held sideways, every seat now sits on the table's rail, evenly spaced, with no gap opposite you.
  • Table Cash tables now use the dead button, as card rooms do: when a player leaves, nobody skips a blind or pays one twice, and the rules pages say so.
  • Table Coming back with fewer chips than the table's minimum, you can add chips as you sit back down, in one step.
  • Tournaments A big blind who can't cover both the ante and the blind now puts in the ante first, as the tournament rules have it.
  • Tournaments Every board in a tournament is run once and there's no rabbit hunt, as on the big poker sites; cash tables still offer both.

  • Table With two or three boards, the gold label on a board you won no longer runs into the hand named before it.
  • Safety The privacy policy now says Poker Rooms is run by Knight23 Apps Ltd, with its ICO registration number; signed-in players are asked to agree to the update once.
  • Usability Opening the app just after an update no longer leaves a blank screen: it loads the new version, or offers Try again.
  • Table Sitting down at a cash game that's already going, you wait for the big blind to reach you, or post a big blind to play straight away.
  • Table Coming back after both blinds passed your seat, posting to play costs a big blind plus a small blind that goes into the pot, as on the big poker apps.
  • Table Standing up and sitting down again the same night no longer skips the blinds you missed.
  • Table Other players' cards are much bigger, face down and at a showdown, and the winning cards glow gold, so who's still in and what they had is plain at a glance.
  • Table After sitting out you only wait for the big blind, or post one, if a blind actually passed your seat; otherwise you're straight back in for free.
  • Table The Check, Call, Raise and Fold banner on each seat now fills the seat's width, with no thin dark gap at the sides.

  • Table At a showdown every hand that has to show turns over at the same moment, so nobody looks like they're slow-rolling.
  • Table If you leave the app, you're still dealt the next hand, so you have time to come back; you only sit out if your time runs out.
  • Table You can tell at a glance who is still in the hand: their seats have a soft gold edge, and folded seats fade right back.
  • Table Showdowns move quicker: who won shows sooner and the next hand starts sooner, the same for every pot, big or small.
  • Table When players are all in, the flop, turn and river come out quicker, and the river no longer turns over slowly in big pots.
  • Table Everyone's face-down cards are bigger, so you can see at a glance who is still in the hand.
  • Table Watching a table, the bet of the player at the bottom now sits beside their cards, so its amount is never hidden.
  • Table The cards in the middle are a little bigger on phones, and a little smaller when there are two or three boards.
  • Table When you win a pot, its chips now land on your chip count instead of covering your hand's name.
  • Table At a full table, a long result, such as two players splitting a board, now wraps between the seats at the top instead of running under them.
  • My poker Played as a guest? A table's link still shows your results and every hand to replay for 30 days after it clears, on the phone you played on, with Play again and Sign in to keep this game.
  • Safety The privacy policy and rules now say a played table's record is kept for 30 days, so signed-in players are asked once to agree to them.
  • Usability The app's home page stays still while it loads on a phone, instead of the buttons and text jumping down.
  • Website The homepage loads faster on phones, with a picture sized for the screen and headings that no longer jump as the font arrives.
  • Usability The app opens faster, loading each page as it's needed, and the join card at a table no longer jumps or lags when you tap it.
  • Clubs Finished club games move to a Past games list on the club page, so only the games on now are at the top.
  • My poker An old table link now opens that game's results and hands in My poker for anyone signed in who played it.
  • My poker A past cash game has Play again with this setup, which opens a new table set up the same way.
  • Website The homepage prioritises its main picture on phones and computers.
  • Website The homepage has a shorter, clearer description for search results.

  • Table The cards in the middle of the table are much bigger, sized to your screen and to how many boards are being run.
  • Table Your own cards sit a little lower over your seat, leaving more room on the table.
  • Table Chat bubbles are smaller, see-through like frosted glass, and no longer have a dark block behind them.
  • Table Sit out and Stand up are together in the top-left corner on a phone.
  • Website The tournament clock's Full screen button now works on iPhone and iPad too, and the clock fits a phone turned sideways.
  • Website A free blind structure maker: enter the players, starting chips and how long you want to play, and get every level and break.
  • Website A free tournament clock for any home game, with blinds, time left and breaks, that keeps the screen on and chimes as levels change.
  • Website A printable hand rankings chart, and a free outs and odds calculator.
  • Website New guides on poker over a video call, odds and outs, poker night ideas and a work poker night, plus pages on private tables and home games.
  • Website Sharing a website page shows its own picture, and a shared table link now shows as an invite to a poker game.
  • Website A "Send feedback or report a problem" link on every page of the website, for ideas and problems.
  • Table Every seat keeps the same spot round the table on every screen, with its name, chips and cards always in the same place.
  • Table Each player's bet sits just in front of their own seat, so it's clear who bet what.
  • Table Your own cards sit tucked just behind your name with your hand shown over them; press your name or cards to see them whole.
  • Table The dealer button and the blinds, each in its own colour, sit in one row beside a seat with any side-game chips.

  • Clubs Club games show in the League again once they end, with their players and points.
  • Table Sit out and Stand up buttons are always in the table's top corner, so you can leave before your blind without opening the Seat menu.
  • Table The pot shows what was in it at the start of the round, then + the bets out now, for example Pot 120 + 40.
  • Table Rabbit hunt now shows the cards that would have come only to the player who asks.
  • Table At the showdown in Omaha, bomb pots and pot folds, every card a player held is shown, with the cards that played raised in gold.
  • Table Chat bubbles on the table are a little see-through, so you can see a bit of what's behind them.
  • Usability On a phone, the chat stays shut after you act from Play, until you open it again.
  • Usability On iPhone, a player's "…" in the players list no longer covers their seat number.
  • Host settings A co-host or stand-in can hand the host role on while the host is away, and the new host is a host in full.
  • Host settings Asking to buy back in or for chips names whoever can answer now, not a host who has left.
  • Clubs A cash game ends 15 minutes after everyone stands up, so League points arrive sooner, and a table with no hands for 24 hours is cleared.

  • Table On a phone, what each player just did (Check, Call, Bet) always shows on top of their picture and blind button.
  • Clubs Club owners and admins get an email when someone asks to join, with a button straight to the request.
  • Clubs Hosts can remove a club game nobody has played yet with the bin beside it; games with hands played stay in the club's history.
  • Premium Every account made before Premium arrived has it free until 23 January 2027, as a thank-you for playing first.
  • Premium Hosts can get Premium by the month, by the year or for a single night, for side games, other table sizes, timing settings, felts and card backs, bigger tournaments and clubs.
  • Premium New accounts can try Premium free for 7 days, with no card needed.
  • Premium Without Premium, My poker shows your last 30 days of nights in full, with your lifetime totals, and every night is still kept.
  • Premium A gold ring and crown round your picture show you have Premium.
  • Website pokerrooms.app is now the Poker Rooms website, with the games, every side game, the rules, a glossary and Premium, and the app a tap away.
  • Website Signed in, the website shows your picture, and tapping it opens the same menu as the app.
  • Legal The rules and terms and the privacy policy now cover Premium: who sells it, renewing, cancelling and refunds.
  • Clubs A host can close a table opened by mistake before its first hand, and it comes straight off the club's Games list.
  • Safety When we answer a message sent through Contact us, the answer now arrives by email too, if you gave an address.
  • Table On a phone, the winner's banner no longer gets in the way of tapping a seat or button beneath it.
  • Fair dealing A name that looks just like another player's, or hides invisible characters, is told apart at the table.
  • Fair dealing The Hands tab and End the night now say plainly that every card, folded hands included, opens for everyone once the night ends.
  • Safety Tables only accept connections from Poker Rooms itself, and repeated password guesses on staff pages are slowed down.
  • Usability A bar along the bottom takes signed-in players to Home, Clubs, My poker and Account from any page outside a game.
  • Usability Your home page shows each club's next game night, and whether you're going or it's playing now.
  • Clubs Clubs can plan game nights, and members can say they're going, maybe, or can't go.
  • Clubs Open a game from a saved setup in one tap, or change it for just that game first.
  • Clubs The club League updates straight away as you pick cash games or tournaments, the dates and the game.
  • Clubs Owners and admins see only the member actions they can use, and removing a banned member keeps the ban.
  • Accounts Signing in as someone else on the same browser clears the last person's pages, and pages offer a retry if loading fails.
  • Accounts Deleting your account now explains what happens to any clubs you own.
  • Safety Messages sent through Contact us reach the Poker Rooms team by email, and you get an email to say it arrived.

  • Table Past hands and player lists no longer need to be sent again with every table update.
  • Tournaments Tournament updates use less repeated data while keeping table and field information current.
  • Usability Chat and reactions stay within reach while a waiting message is shown on an upright phone.
  • Tournaments You can dismiss an add-on offer without accepting it and return to it from your seat menu.
  • Legal Rules and privacy now explain standing up, shared history, downloads and account deletion more accurately.
  • Accounts Deleting an account now keeps retrying any unneeded saved-game files that could not be removed straight away.
  • Table Empty seats and player avatars now sit evenly on the rail, with your seat at the bottom in every layout.
  • Table Bets now stay close in front of the player who placed them.
  • Side games Opponents’ five- and six-card hands spread outwards, leaving clearer space for the board and bets.
  • Usability Action buttons and card-reveal choices fit more clearly on small screens.
  • Usability Empty seat markers now line up with the table rail on iPad, held upright or sideways.

  • Safety The rules now explicitly cover harmful content, bullying about how someone looks and dangerous dares, and explain that a person reads every report.
  • Safety The report options now explicitly include encouragement of eating disorders alongside suicide and self-harm.
  • Safety Your guest key no longer shows up in the records our server provider keeps, and the privacy page now says what those records hold and that they're kept for 3 days.
  • Accounts Your saved nights now keep the whole game: the ledger and settle-up, when everyone sat down and left, how the table was set up, a tournament's knockouts, and when each move was made.
  • Accounts Signing in with Google now shares only your email address with us, and your list of signed-in devices keeps just the kind of device and browser each one is.
  • Accounts Your account now remembers which versions of the rules and terms and the privacy policy you agreed to, and asks you once with a short note on the home page when they change.
  • Accounts Signing up now brings in every game you played as a guest in that browser in the last 30 days, even if Safari has cleared the site's data after a week away.
  • Accounts The privacy policy now explains the cookie that keeps your guest key and the note of which tables each guest has played at.
  • Accounts Your guest nights now show in My poker as soon as you sign in, without reloading the page.
  • Accounts Signing in now brings all your guest nights on that device into My poker, not just the latest, and a device already signed in brings them in the next time you open the app.
  • Accounts You can now make an account if you want one, and sign in with a code by email, with Google or with a passkey you've added, never a password. Guests play just as before.
  • Stats My poker keeps every night you play signed in: everyone's result, the settle-up, and every hand to replay, verify and download.
  • Stats My poker's Stats show your totals and how you play, in big blinds or chips, with a chart of your results night by night.
  • Accounts Signed in, your name, avatar and table settings are the same on every device, and the tables you'd played as a guest on that device come with you.
  • Accounts Your account page lets you move your account to another email address, download everything kept with it, or delete it.
  • Safety Blocks follow your account to every device you sign in on, and if the player you block is signed in too, to every device of theirs.
  • Safety Opening a table or tournament, a guest's first join at a table, reports and messages from the contact page now have a quick check that you're a person, which usually shows nothing.
  • Legal The privacy policy is now on the site, and the rules and terms have a part for accounts.

  • Table A card asking you something, such as a vote on a bomb pot or someone asking to sit down, now takes your controls' place, so it never covers a seat on any screen, and reads in full on the smallest iPhones.
  • Side games When the table votes down an ask for a bomb pot or pot fold, the dealer now says so, and the player who asked is told for a few seconds over the top bar.
  • Tournaments Saving a tournament's setup now says Saved by its button, and the menu stays open.
  • Table On a laptop or a monitor, the table now takes the whole window and is much bigger, with your controls in its bottom-right corner.
  • Table On an iPad held sideways, a laptop or a monitor, your hand's name under your cards now stays clear of your controls, with each board's hand in short, such as Pair of Qs, on two or three boards.
  • Table News, such as someone sitting down or a setting changing, now shows for a few seconds over the top bar, so it never covers a seat, a bet or cards.
  • Tournaments Watching a tournament, the count of people watching is now an eye and a number, kept clear of every seat; on a phone held upright it sits beside the reactions button.
  • Table Every line beside your controls now reads in full on the smallest iPhones, upright or on their side, such as being next on the waiting list or out of chips.
  • Table On an iPad held sideways, the table now takes the whole width and is much bigger, with your controls in its bottom-right corner.
  • Table Coming back after sitting out on a smaller iPhone held upright, the line beside your button now reads in full.
  • Table When a bomb pot or pot fold is next, your seat's tag now says Back next hand if it deals you straight back in, or Back after bomb pot if you sit it out first.
  • Table A seat waiting for the big blind now says Waiting for big blind, with the words inside its tag.
  • Table On an iPad, a laptop or a phone on its side, choosing your move before your turn is now a row of tick boxes, as on a phone held upright.
  • Table On an iPad, a laptop or a phone on its side, your turn's seconds now count down in the ring round your picture, leaving your controls to your bet sizes and buttons.
  • Table On an iPad, a laptop or a phone on its side, your controls now clear away between hands when there's nothing for you to do.
  • Side games In a Nit game, standing up no longer hands in your Nit chip: you keep it and have it back when you sit down, so only winning a pot hands one in.
  • Side games Who has a Nit game's last chip is now counted among the players at the table, and if someone sits back down with theirs before the forfeit is paid, the game plays on.
  • Side games Before a bomb pot or pot fold is dealt, its notice and the Host menu now count only the players who'll be dealt in, on the boards it will really go on.
  • Table Coming back by posting the big blind with a bomb pot or pot fold next, your controls now say you'll be dealt back in with no blind to post.
  • Side games Under Seat, someone who sat down after a Nit game's chips went out is now told it started before they sat down.
  • Tournaments The host can now close late entry early from the tournament's settings, after being asked to confirm.
  • Tournaments Breaks in the levels now start on the clock, so one long hand no longer holds up the break for everyone.
  • Tournaments The host can now end a break early, with the usual 10-second countdown before play starts again.
  • Tournaments When a late entry opens a new table, players from every table now move to it as each finishes its hand, so nobody waits long for a game.
  • Tournaments Players moved from a table that breaks up are now dealt straight in, even on the button or the small blind, as tournament rules say.
  • Tournaments Knocking out a player who rebought during that same hand now wins you the bounty on them.
  • Tournaments On the bubble, hand for hand no longer stalls while a player who busted decides on a rebuy.
  • Tournaments The results now name whoever set up the next tournament, the host or a co-host.
  • Tournaments Use your last setup now also offers the setup you started your last tournament with, not only one you saved.
  • Tournaments The tournament results picture now says it's counted in the night's results at the table.
  • Tournaments The lobby now says Rebuys: None for a tournament without them, and the add-on's boxes say what each one is.
  • Tournaments The setup now suggests a break straight after late entry when the add-on would otherwise come more than a level later.
  • Side games Once you're dealt a Nit chip you're in that Nit game to the end, and skipping bomb pots or pot folds after that only skips the table's own.
  • Side games The bomb pot or pot fold that ends a Nit game now deals in its players who are waiting for the big blind.
  • Side games Pot folds now give everyone at least four cards, so with ten players the Host menu offers two boards at most.
  • Side games The Nit game's help now says who a player pays when they leave owing its forfeit.
  • Side games Under Seat, a Nit player skipping bomb pots or pot folds is now told they still play the Nit game's own, and what it costs.
  • Usability The Seat menu is now in sections: your seat first, then How you play, All-night side games and One-off side games.
  • Side games Every side game now always has its switch under Seat, so you can skip one even when only the host deals it.
  • Side games When players can ask for a bomb pot or a pot fold, Ask for one now sits beside its switch under Seat.
  • Host settings Table settings now groups the side games the same way, all-night and one-off, and Win streak is now called Win-streak bounty.
  • Side games The win streak sign on the felt now shows the same green chip as the seat and says who's on a streak, such as "Win streak · Sam 1 of 3".
  • Table On a phone, a seat with three or more markers now keeps them all on screen and clear of everyone's bets.
  • Table On a phone held sideways, your hand on two or three boards is now named in short, such as "Pair of Qs", so it stays clear of the bets beside you.
  • Tournaments On a smaller iPad, names and chips at a tournament table are now as easy to read as at a cash table.
  • Tournaments Watching a tournament while late entry is open, the way in is now in the bar at the foot of the screen, with nothing covering the table.
  • Tournaments The tournament setup, lobby and Levels now say how long a tournament will likely take, and once it's started, about when it will finish.
  • Tournaments In the setup, each preset and each level length shows how long it would likely make the tournament, so you can pick one by length.
  • Tournaments The setup warns the host about a very deep starting stack, blinds more than doubling between levels, or too few levels for the tournament to finish.
  • Table On a phone held upright your controls are now one slim bar, so the table is bigger and keeps its size, even when you sit down or it's your turn.
  • Table On your turn the bet sizes rise just above your buttons, and your seconds count down inside your avatar's ring.
  • Table Choices you make ahead now have tick boxes, so they never look like acting now.
  • Usability The chat now runs to the foot of the screen; when it's your turn a gold strip says so, and a tap on it takes you to your buttons, with the chat back afterwards as you left it.
  • Usability The chat's message box is now two lines tall, so a longer message shows in full as you write it.
  • Usability Send is as tall as the message box and sits further from Safari's bar on an iPhone, so a tap that lands a little low still sends, and a tap beside it no longer puts the keyboard away.
  • Usability The quick lines (nh, gl, ty, one more?) are gone from the chat, giving the message box their room.
  • Usability On an iPhone the chat and the menu scroll smoothly: a new message no longer stops your swipe, and the list catches up once it's still.
  • Usability When the keyboard goes away, the chat stays at its newest message if that's where you were.
  • Usability Pressing and holding on the chat or the menu no longer starts selecting words.
  • Table What a player says in chat now waits while their cards are face up, and shows once the cards are gone, so a bubble never covers a shown hand.
  • Table The top bar names a bomb pot or pot fold only where it has room; the badge on the felt always says it.
  • Host settings In the host menu, each bomb pot's and pot fold's board choices sit together on one row.
  • Usability The Seat menu puts your chips, sitting out and leaving first, then asking for a side game, straddling, running it and the side games you play.
  • Host settings The host now picks the felt and card backs in Table settings, and they change for everyone as soon as they're picked.
  • Usability On an iPad, a laptop or a phone held sideways, the empty box under the table goes when there's nothing for you to do, leaving just the line that says what's happening.
  • Side games When the Nit game's last player covers a bomb pot or pot fold, the felt's badge says who covers it and your controls say it's for the Nit game's players only.
  • Usability Clearer words throughout: Extra time instead of the time bank, Settle up for who gives chips to whom, a Dealer tab in the chat sheet, a Minutes column in a tournament's levels, and plainer notifications and break messages.
  • Table On an iPad every bet now sits clear of every seat, with room to show big bets in full.
  • Table On an iPad a seat with three markers, such as a blind and two side games' chips, shows them a little smaller so they stay clear of the bets.
  • Side games On an iPad the side game signs over the pot wait for the hand to end when a bomb pot's or pot fold's bets leave them no room.
  • Table On a phone held sideways your controls keep their size when calling would put you all in, so they stay clear of the seats.
  • Tournaments Tournaments now use a dead button, as the rulebook says, so everyone pays each blind once an orbit: after a player goes out, the button can sit on an empty seat, shown on the felt, or nobody posts the small blind for a hand.
  • Table Sitting down at a cash table no longer hands you the button, so the players who just paid the blinds don't pay them again; if you sit between the button and the small blind, you wait for the button to pass you.
  • Table If your connection drops on your turn, your extra time keeps running before the table checks or folds for you.
  • Table Back after sitting out one hand the blinds didn't reach, you go straight back in, without waiting for the big blind or posting.

  • Tournaments If you go out in a hand dealt while rebuys were open, you can rebuy, even if the level changed while the hand was played.
  • Tournaments While the host's pause waits for the hand to end, the clock says Pausing after this hand, and Next break still shows the break in the structure.
  • Tournaments Tap the clock and Your place says Tied when your stack is level with someone else's.
  • Tournaments When players go out in the same hand, the one with more chips once the big blind's ante is in finishes higher, as the rulebook says.
  • Tournaments An add-on request the host hasn't answered lapses when the add-on break ends, so the prizes are always settled.
  • Side games Bomb pot and pot fold votes are counted again before each deal, among the players who'd be in it, so a request carries or fails with them.
  • Table If a player sits out while everyone all in is choosing how many times to run it, the table goes by their choice under Seat instead of waiting for them.
  • Side games When someone asks for a bomb pot or pot fold, only the players who'd be in it and the host get a card, which folds away once you've voted; everyone else sees a short note.
  • Host settings In Table settings, All in now sits with Rabbit hunt and Straddles, and the side games come after it under their own heading.
  • Side games A bomb pot or pot fold the table deals for everyone during a Nit Game is dealt as usual, with everyone anteing.
  • Table If the host removes a player who's all in, their hand now plays out and they keep whatever they win.
  • Table A player too short to straddle after paying to sit back in no longer straddles, so the amount to call is always right.
  • Table Watching on a phone, the bottom seat's bet now sits in front of that player, just above their cards, like everyone else's.
  • Side games The Nit Game switch is always under Seat, so you can skip a Nit Game before the host starts one.
  • Side games If you skip bomb pots or pot folds, you're left out of a Nit Game that ends in one, and your switch says why.
  • Side games The bomb pot or pot fold that ends a Nit Game is dealt only to its players, the last player paying their antes, while anyone else sits that hand out.
  • Side games Standing up with the last Nit chip, or one of the last two, pays the forfeit to the other Nit players as you go.
  • Table All-ins in big pots no longer drag: the turn and river come as quickly as in any all-in, and the river still turns over slowly.
  • Tournaments On a phone, tap the tournament clock for your stack in chips and big blinds, your place, the average stack, how many more go out before the prizes and when the next break is.
  • Tournaments Once late entry closes, an "On the bubble" banner and chime say when the next player out wins nothing, and "In the prizes" says when everyone left is sure of a prize.
  • Tournaments The final table's introduction now lists everyone's chips and the prizes.
  • Tournaments When the blinds are due to go up during a hand, the table says "Blinds go up next hand" until the next deal, and a double ding marks the new level.
  • Tournaments A minute before a break ends, players with notifications on get an alert on their phone.
  • Tournaments Share as a picture on the results makes one for the group chat: the places and prizes in chips, bounties, the most knockouts and who led each level.
  • Tournaments From the results, the host can set up the next tournament with the same setup and everyone still there gets a link to it, and a new setup can start from your last one.
  • Table When everyone's all in, each hand turned up is named as the cards come, with the player's chance of winning on the line under it.
  • Table With the board run more than once, only the run being dealt shows chances, and each hand is named on that run.
  • Table The dealer button, blinds and side-game chips now sit on the corner of the player's picture, clear of their name and chances.
  • Table The chance of a split shows where a seat has room, and a bomb pot's chances on its two boards fit their seat.
  • Table After a rabbit hunt, the hand helper names the hand you'd have made with those cards.
  • Tournaments When a player's time runs out, the table now sits them out, so it checks or folds for them straight away until they're back instead of waiting their full time on every turn.
  • Tournaments A rebuy request the host hasn't answered lapses after 2 minutes, and the host and the player both see the time count down.
  • Tournaments A late entry or a player moved from another table who would sit between the button and the small blind waits for the button to pass before being dealt in, and their seat says Waiting for button.
  • Tournaments Players from a table that breaks up now go to seats drawn at random.
  • Tournaments In hand for hand the clock stops once every table has finished its hand, and each round of hands takes two minutes off the level, so slow tables can't push the blinds up on the bubble.
  • Table On a phone, every bet now sits on the felt between its seat and the pot, so it never covers anyone's chips, upright or sideways.
  • Table A stack or bet too long for its place on a small phone is shortened, such as 1.23M, and always rounded down, so it never looks bigger than it is.
  • Table On a small phone the pot shrinks to fit between the seats beside it, and in a bomb pot or pot fold the top bar names the hand.
  • Table On a small phone at a busy table, the side-game signs above the pot show between hands, so they never sit on the bets.
  • Table On an iPad, the three bets along the top of a full table shorten rather than run into each other.
  • Table On a phone on its side, every shown hand now sits over the player's picture, so each card's rank and suit can be read, even at a full table.
  • Table On a phone on its side, the reactions button is now at the bottom left, clear of the seats.
  • Table On an iPad, the shown cards of the player at the top middle seat are no longer cut off by the top bar.
  • Looks Tapping a new felt and then a new card back quickly keeps both.
  • Table At a showdown the hands now turn over one at a time, a second and a half apart, starting with whoever bet or raised last, or the first player left of the button when nobody bet.
  • Table A hand that can't beat or tie one already shown goes into the muck in its turn, unless someone is all in.
  • Table The pots are won one at a time: side pots first and the main pot last, and with the board run more than once, each run's pots once its river is out.
  • Table A pot fold's hands stay hidden until its showdown, then turn over one at a time too.
  • Usability On a phone, a question's countdown stays on the line with its last words.
  • Table Under Seat you can choose how many times you run it when everyone left is all in: Ask me, Once, Twice or Three times, up to what the host allows.
  • Table When someone wants more runs than you chose, you see both, such as "Sam wants to run it three times. You chose twice.", and tap one; not answering keeps yours.
  • Table If everyone left chose the same number, it's run that many times straight away, and the board is always run the fewest times anyone settles on.
  • Table If you'd chosen Always for running it twice, you're now set to Twice, and Never is now Once.
  • Table When everyone's all in, each card waits longer than the one before (3, 4 and 5 seconds), so the run-out builds up instead of rushing past.
  • Table In a big all-in pot (100 big blinds or more) the turn and river wait longer, and the river turns over slowly while it can still change who wins.
  • Table Once nobody all in can catch up, the rest of the board comes out quickly.
  • Table Each new street waits a second and a half before the first turn on it, and your controls say your turn is coming.
  • Table The next hand comes 3 seconds after everyone folds and 5 seconds after a showdown, and cards you show stay up at least 3 seconds.
  • Table The name of your hand under your cards waits for the cards to land, so it never gives away the flop or the river.
  • Side games A bomb pot or pot fold is announced over the pot as the antes go in, and its flop turns over all at once.
  • Side games The rabbit hunt no longer slows down hands nobody hunts; turned over, its cards stay up 3 seconds.
  • Table Players all in have 6 seconds to ask to run it twice, and the others 5 seconds to agree.
  • Table Straddles no longer hold up the deal: the player under the gun next hand gets a switch above their buttons, and their straddle goes in with the blinds.
  • Table Under Seat, choose to be offered the straddle, to straddle every time, or never to be asked.
  • Table A re-straddle question says who straddled and how much, with 8 seconds to answer.
  • Table Under Seat, choose to be asked about running it twice, to always agree, or never; a change counts at once, even while the question is up.
  • Host settings Hosts can give 10, 12 or 18 seconds to act, a smaller time bank, and a refill as small as a second every 10 hands; the board can be run up to three times.
  • Tournaments Tournament hosts choose the time bank and what each break adds, or turn it off, and can pick 3- or 4-minute levels.
  • Table The table uses the usual poker words throughout: a call that takes your last chips says Call with all in under it, and All in is kept for bets and raises.
  • Table The chat names the main pot and each side pot, says when a bet nobody called goes back, and names the kicker when it decides the pot.
  • Table Stepping away is now sitting out, as in a cardroom: Sit out now, Sit out next hand, and Sitting out on your seat.
  • Side games Bomb pots and pot folds talk about antes, and paying the pot in a pot fold is a call.
  • Tournaments Tournaments show the big blind ante as BB ante, and a rebuy or the add-on says how many chips you get for your entry.
  • Fair dealing Checking a shuffle is now called Verify this deal, so check only means the poker action.
  • Table Your betting buttons keep three places, Fold, Check or Call, and Bet or Raise, whether it's your turn or you're choosing ahead.
  • Table Choosing ahead now has Call any, which calls whatever the bet comes to.
  • Table On a phone the bet sizes show on every turn with a standard one picked, so the gold button, which always says what it will do, bets it in one tap.
  • Table The sizes match how people bet: big blinds or times the raise before the flop, parts of the pot after it.
  • Table On a phone, ± swaps the sizes for your own amount, and nothing covers your cards while you choose.
  • Usability A tap made just as your controls change is let go, so it can't fold or raise by mistake.
  • Usability Screen readers hear each bet size in words, such as 2.5 big blinds.
  • Table When everyone's all in, the river lands on its own and who won shows two seconds later.
  • Table All-in odds change only once a card has landed, so they never show who won before the table does.
  • Table When the betting ends with players all in, every bet slides into the pot, and any part nobody could call goes straight back to whoever bet it.
  • Table A bet everyone folds to slides back to whoever made it before they're given the pot.
  • Side games Bomb pot and pot fold antes, and a Nit Game forfeit, slide into the middle as the cards are dealt.
  • Table Your clock starts once your cards have landed (in a bomb pot or pot fold, once the flop has turned over), your controls say Dealing… until then, and the turn sound plays only if you still have to act.
  • Tournaments The final table's countdown reaches zero as its first hand is dealt.

  • Table Seat is now the last button in the top bar, there whenever you have a seat, on your turn too, so you can always sit out or stand up.
  • Table When you're set to sit out, sitting out or standing up, Seat shows it: a tag beside the word, or an amber dot on a phone held upright, and its menu says so in full.
  • Tournaments Late entry now closes by the end of the level before the last, so a tournament with late entry always plays down to a winner.
  • Tournaments Changing the entry before the start now applies to everyone who has already entered, so the prizes match what was put in.
  • Tournaments Players who go out in the same round of hand for hand at different tables now tie for their place and share its prize.
  • Table Stepping away and straight back on your own turn carries on your clock and time bank where they were, instead of starting them again.
  • Table Going heads up, nobody posts the big blind twice in a row.
  • Tournaments When the host takes out a player who is deciding whether to rebuy, they keep the place where they went out and who knocked them out.
  • Tournaments When the host takes out a player during a hand, the table checks or folds for them straight away instead of waiting out their time.
  • Tournaments The Knocked out list now runs best place first.
  • Tournaments The colour-up note in Levels now says odd chips are rounded up, as they are.
  • Tournaments Stepping away in a tournament now lasts until you tap I'm back: you stay dealt in and the table checks or folds for you straight away, so nobody waits on you.
  • Tournaments The Seat menu in a tournament offers "Sit out next hand" during a hand, as at a cash table.
  • Tournaments A tournament player who is away shows the darker Away look, and gets no turn sound, phone notice or betting buttons until they're back.
  • Tournaments Replays of tournament hands show tournament chips.
  • Tournaments With a phone on its side, the tournament clock sits in the top bar, so the table keeps its full size.
  • Table On a phone the table keeps its size when a keyboard opens, whether you're sitting down, typing a bet or chatting; the keyboard and the box you're typing in sit over it.
  • Table Every upright screen now uses the table that fills the space it has, so the Fitted or Classic choice is gone from Display.
  • Side games You can skip bomb pots, pot folds, the 7-2 game, the win-streak bounty or the Nit Game from Side games in your Seat menu; you keep your seat, and a small marker by it shows what you're skipping.
  • Host settings Hosts can deal a pot fold on one, two or three boards; with more boards everyone gets as many cards as the deck allows, and the Host menu says how many.
  • Side games Hosts can turn on the win-streak bounty: win three hands in a row on your own and every other player passes you a set number of chips, with a token by your seat counting the wins.
  • Table When everyone is all in, each player's chance of winning shows on their nameplate and updates with each card; you can turn it off in Settings.
  • Stats When the host ends the night, everyone gets a recap of the biggest pot, the best hand, who won most, the side games and the settle-up, which you can share as a picture or open again from the Ledger.
  • Host settings With four cards each, the host's bomb pot menu only offers as many boards as one deck has room for at the table's size.
  • Host settings Hosts can pick the game at the top of Table settings: No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Hold'em or Pot-Limit Omaha with four cards each, changing from the next hand.
  • Tournaments Tournaments can be played as No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Hold'em or Pot-Limit Omaha, chosen in the setup.
  • Table The top bar and Game info name the game being played, such as "PLO · 1/2", and the Pot button raises exactly as far as pot limit allows.
  • Table You can see at a glance who's still in the hand: their face-down cards are bigger, folded players are greyed out, and players who are away are faint with a dashed outline.
  • Table At a showdown the five cards that won are lifted and the rest dimmed, and a gold banner says who won, how many chips and with what hand.
  • Table Your own cards now show the suit beside the rank, like everyone else's shown cards.
  • Table A call has its own chip sound, different from a bet or raise.
  • Usability Chatting on a phone no longer shrinks the table: the chat sits on the keyboard, your buttons tuck away, and a gold "Your turn" strip with a Play button tells you when it's your go.
  • Usability Drag the chat's handle up to open it full screen, and down to bring it back or put it away.
  • Usability With your phone on its side, the table uses the whole width and your buttons float in the bottom corner.
  • Usability Notices are simpler: news shows briefly under the top bar and fades, and anything that needs your answer waits as one card at a time until your hand is over.
  • Table Replay any hand of the night from Menu, Hands: play it back street by street on the table's own felt, showing only the cards you saw.
  • Side games Bomb pots can now deal four cards each and play as Omaha, and the host can make them pot limit or no limit in Table settings.
  • Table Shown cards have a small suit beside the rank, so you can always tell the suit, even when cards overlap on a phone.
  • Table "Sit out next hand" in the seat menu during a hand: you finish the hand, then step away. You can change your mind until the hand ends.
  • Table Phones that translate web pages no longer change the game's words, which had turned "Bet" into "But".

  • Table Cards people show down the sides of the table are larger and easier to read, and losing hands dim less.
  • Table When you fold, your cards stay where they are, greyed out, and the hand helper keeps naming your hand.
  • Chat Chat bubbles on seats are a little wider, see-through and up to three lines long.
  • Ledger Sit back down the same night after standing up and you get exactly the chips you left with, shown as a return in the ledger rather than a new buy-in.
  • Table On a phone your own bet sits just above your cards, the chat sheet stays put while you type, and sliders and double taps no longer zoom the page.
  • Table All-in run-outs deal each street a little more slowly, so everyone can follow them.
  • Looks Card backs are lined up under their matching felts in Settings: Emerald, Midnight, Oxblood, then Charcoal and Brass.
  • Looks The felts are Emerald, Midnight and Oxblood, and the felt and card back are picked beside the card colours in Settings, saving as soon as you choose.
  • Host settings Hosts pick the table's felt and card backs, for cash games and tournaments.
  • Table Timings match the established apps: the showdown comes with the last card, the pauses after a hand are shorter, and stepping away checks or folds for you straight away.
  • Table Fold asks "Are you sure?" when you could check for free, with Check offered in its place.
  • Table On a computer each bet sits straight in front of its seat, and the winner's seat shows how much they won.
  • Side games The Nit Game and the 7-2 game only count normal hold'em hands, never a bomb pot or pot fold.
  • Table Your hand's name fits on your seat on a phone, the way players say it: "2 pair, Qs & 8s", "Ks full of 7s".
  • Table Notices sit in a strip above the controls, folded cards are tucked away, the result shows on the winner's seat, and the number watching is in the top bar.
  • Table The top bar shows whose table it is, the host wears a crown on their seat, watchers get a slimmer bar, and the table can play full screen.
  • Usability The home page's start buttons are always in view, your avatar is a tap away, and the question about notifications comes when you join.
  • Table The table fits a phone: compact seat tiles, bets on their corners and your cards tucked behind your seat, with each hand named on the tiles.
  • Chat On a phone the chat opens as a sheet over the table from a chat button, with bubbles by each seat and quick lines to send.
  • Table On an iPad your bet sits beside your cards.

  • Table Away mode: missing a hand puts a player away, and after the host's "Time away" (15 minutes to start with) they're stood up with their chips.
  • Table At a showdown the winner and the last bettor turn their cards up first, and other players can show or muck.
  • Table Fold is always on offer, a pot fold's cards fit on a phone, and the page no longer goes blank in the newest Chrome.
  • Host settings Table settings are tidier: the Nit Game sits with the other side games and the rabbit hunt has its own section.
  • Usability Poker Rooms moved to play.pokerrooms.app. Old links still work and bring your seat across, and Home Screen users are asked to add it again.
  • Usability The start screen offers "Start cash game" or "Start tournament", and says No-Limit Hold'em is the only game for now.
  • Host settings The host lets each new player sit down by default; anyone who has already played that night sits straight down, and the first player at a new table gets a seat straight away.
  • Side games New side game: the Nit Game. Everyone gets a Nit chip, winning a pot hands yours in, and the last player holding one pays into the next pot.
  • Usability Players stay seated while the app is updated, and a page left open reloads once you're out of the hand.
  • Usability Wrong, cleared or full links say so plainly, and the start screen says what went wrong right under the button.
  • Safety Limits on how many games and watchers one address can open, so friends on one Wi-Fi still get in: 20 watchers at a cash table and 60 at a tournament.
  • Table Showdowns read clearly on every screen, and your own seat has more room around it.
  • Usability Screen readers hear each change at the table once, and dialogs, menus and tabs all work from the keyboard.
  • Usability Small controls are easier to tap with a finger, Back closes whatever is open before leaving the table, and notched iPhones keep the controls clear of the clock and home bar.
  • Host settings Settings check every amount and say when they're saved.
  • Table Game info explains how the dealer button moves.
  • Sounds New table sounds, a chat sound, and new icons for the six reactions.
  • Table A bomb pot's name sits beside the pot on small tables, and a seat's "Bet" label is the same size as the others.
  • Fair dealing A hand you sat out, or a seed that arrived after the deal, no longer shows as a failed check.
  • Table Chips stay clear of cards, run-outs are slower, and the phone screen stays put while you type.
  • Safety Rules and terms and a contact page, linked from the home page and the menu; tap any chat message to report it.
  • Table A bigger, clearer table on every screen, with the side games built into the app.
  • Side games Straddles before the deal (with re-straddles and auto-straddle), bomb pots on one, two or three boards, and agreeing as a table to run it twice.
  • Side games Pot folds: everyone puts in, and the only betting is on the flop.
  • Table Rabbit hunt: if the host turns it on, anyone dealt in can turn over the cards that would have come.
  • Safety Messages to Poker Rooms, report alerts, and taken-down messages can be put back after an appeal.

  • Fair dealing Every card is locked on its own before the shuffle, every finished hand has "Check this deal", and players can add seed words of their own.
  • Safety Report and block: blocking hides someone at every table on your device, and a report sends their recent messages to Poker Rooms.
  • Tournaments Tournaments in chips: one table or up to six, with rebuys, add-ons, bounties, breaks and late entry, or a tournament for the night started from a cash table's ledger.
  • Host settings Host tools: players add chips with the host's yes, the host can correct a stack with a reason everyone sees, and a waiting list fills seats that come free.
  • Table Cards slide out from the dealer, bets slide into the pot, and the pot slides to the winner.
  • Usability Phone notifications for your turn and the host's requests, a catch-up card after time away, and moving your seat to another device with a code.
  • Sounds Table sounds and turn alerts, with a buzz on phones that can.
  • Table Every hand is saved in the standard hand history format and can be downloaded from the Hands tab.
  • Table All-in hands can be run up to five times if the host allows, players can show their cards after a hand, and the Hands tab keeps every hand of the night.
  • Chat Table chat with the dealer's lines, quick reactions, watchers, and a say for the host over who comes in.
  • Table Time banks, dropped players skipped at the deal, and coming back on the big blind like a casino.
  • Looks The Poker Rooms look: the logo, app icons, card backs and avatars on a premium casino table.
  • Usability Poker Rooms went live at pokerrooms.app, and tables nobody plays at for 30 days are cleared away.
  • Table No-Limit Hold'em for 2 to 10 friends as guests: start a table, send the link and deal, with side pots, side games and a co-host.
  • Ledger A ledger in chips with each player's result and the fewest chip transfers to settle up.
